Will it actually look like my dog?
PupGen is built only for dogs, so it's good at picking up breed, coat color and expression. Clear, bright photos of the face give the best results. Like any AI, small details such as markings can vary — try a few generations and keep your favorite.
Is this AI-generated or hand-painted?
Portraits you make with PupGen are generated by AI from your photo. They are not hand-painted or hand-drawn.
Do I need an account?
Not to try it. Without an account, you can make one sample image: pick a breed and we'll generate it in the style you chose (watermarked, once every 24 hours). To create from photos of your own dog and save your images, create a free account and get 15 credits (enough for 15 images) — a one-time sign-up bonus. After that, you can buy a credit pack or choose a monthly plan.
Can I do my cat (or another pet)?
Not at the moment. PupGen is made just for dogs — focusing on one species is how we get breeds, coats and expressions right.
What photos work best?
Any phone photo is fine. Choose one taken from the front or at a slight angle, in good light and in focus. Avoid heavy filters and photos where other pets or people cover your dog.
What happens to my photos?
Uploaded photos are used only for AI generation and are never used for advertising or marketing without permission. When you delete your account, uploaded photos, generated images and videos, and account information are deleted right away. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can I use the images commercially?
Yes, for images you create while you're a paid user. That means you have purchased credits left, or you're subscribed to Pro or Unlimited (not counting a free trial period). Those images stay OK for commercial use even after you cancel or use up your purchased credits (except in the case of a chargeback or other fraudulent payment cancellation). Images created while you're not a paid user (including after you cancel or use up your purchased credits) are for personal use only. On every plan, you may not use your images to train AI models.
